Reviews and Ratings <br />
This resort served well for a short mountain getaway with clean accommodations, and the staff was very responsive to our needs. However, the stairs to the upper condos were quite steep and the landing felt cramped, so I would prefer a bottom-floor unit next time. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with useful amenities and friendly service.
Our stay at the resort was a mixed bag. While there were some redeeming qualities, such as the friendly staff and the spacious rooms, we faced several issues including an uncomfortable location and aging facilities. The amenities were decent, but overall, I felt we could have had a better experience elsewhere. It wasn't terrible, but definitely not ideal.
We stayed at Pinecliff Village and while the suite we had was spacious and equipped with a decent kitchen, the overall condition of the place left much to be desired. The staff was friendly, but the facility really needs updates as it felt somewhat worn. There were positives like the nice size of the suite and the presence of kid-friendly amenities, but the maintenance issues, including a frequently closed pool, were disappointing.
Pinecliff is a decent option for exploring New Mexico, especially for families, thanks to its spacious two-bedroom setup and a nice kitchen. However, it definitely shows its age, with furniture that feels old and a few maintenance issues like a broken bathroom counter. The staff is friendly and does their best, but the overall experience reminded me more of budget accommodations rather than a resort spa, especially with limited air conditioning in the bedrooms during hot summers.
My recent stay had some highlights, but there were definitely downsides to consider. The outdoor deck near the river was a lovely touch and made for a nice setting, but the location left much to be desired with its proximity to a low-income neighborhood. While the facility served its purpose, I found the overall experience lacking in comfort and quality.
